Tamal Making Workshop for Kids!!!

Spanish Tamale-Making Workshop for Kids

Come experience the joy of Spanish, food, culture, gardening, and literacy at My Escuelita Garden Classroom! In this hands-on two-hour workshop, children will make their own traditional tamales while learning and playing entirely in Spanish. Through cooking, gardening, storytelling, music, movement, games, and literacy activities, children will connect language learning to a meaningful cultural tradition.

Children will make 10–15 tamales to take home and explore The Great Tamale Treasure Hunt by Naibe Reynoso and Con Todo Press. We will garden, harvest, compost, play games, make art and dance too!

A joyful, hands-on Spanish experience where children learn by doing, creating, connecting, and celebrating culture.  Register here. Process payment here.
