Making a craft or project helps make the curriculum and lesson interactive and expands the lesson. A simple lesson can be enriched with a project that students can feel pride in and are excited to share with other and use the language!

Teaching online means that I get to be as creative as possible. Making the class come alive is most important to me! I may be a pirate or a paleontologist!

Busy families need simple tools. I use google classroom to help students and parents keep track of lessons and all tools used in class. Assessments if needed are also on google forms and you can access it on any device!

In 2006 I started My Escuelita...after 15 years of teaching in the classroom. After the pandemic I converted all of my classes to an online platform and worked hard to develop classes that are FUN, CULTURALLY RELEVANT, INTERACTIVE, Based on literacy and literature and include essential skills from other content areas.
